All of the local & foreign fighters at Ubud Muay Thai receive individualized training from us. Each fighter gains the competitive edge they need from our training method, which helps them in creating their own distinctive fighting style and characteristic moves. Our fighters are able to attain their full potential and accomplish their goals inside and outside the ring with the guidance of our knowledgeable trainers.
Karl “The Unpredictable” Harris
One of Ubud Muay Thai's talented homegrown fighters is Karl Harris. He has won numerous Muay Thai fights, starting from SOMA K1 Tournament back in 2021 & 2022, including the recent Backyard Fight event in January 2023. He is a force to be reckoned with in the ring because of his unpredictable fighting style, devotion to technique, and lethal punches and kicks.
Agus “The Skunk” Kun
At Ubud Muay Thai, Agus Kun is a well-known homegrown fighter who is renowned for his "skunk" fighting style. He has been training out at our gym for more than two years, and in 2021–2022, he competed in a number of Muay Thai fights, including the SOMA K1 Tournament.
Kiana “The Terminator” B.D
Swedish fighter Kiana B.D. is the first female fighter in Ubud Muay Thai. She has been practicing Muay Thai for two years and has distinguished herself from other fighters by mastering a "terminator" fighting technique. She earned a spot in the SOMA Fight Series in 2022 because of her commitment and perseverance in learning Muay Thai techniques.
Dewi “The Devastating” Torvicia
Dewi Torvicia, is the second female fighter in Ubud Muay Thai. She has been training in Muay Thai for 1.5 years despite having a demanding academic schedule, and she has honed a "devastating" fighting technique. She won the Sparring Showcase at the Ubud Muay Thai anniversary event in 2022, demonstrating how determined she was to hone her abilities and tactics.
Remi “The Technician”
France-born Remi is one of our homegrown fighters. He lives as a Digital Nomad and a Chef, but he has been training Muay Thai for a year, honing his techniques and developing his own "technician" fighting style. Remi's dedication to the sport is unshakeable, and he never skips a day of training at Ubud Muay Thai, which paid off when he won the SOMA K1 Tournament in 2021.
Yul “The Raging Bull” Harris
One of the native English homegrown fighters, Yul Harris, discovered his love for Muay Thai while on holiday in Ubud. He began training in Muay Thai only as a way to fill his leisure time, but soon fell in love with martial art and has since refined his skills to almost perfection. Yul, who goes by the nickname "Raging Bull," has also taken part in a number of Muay Thai fight events, including the Uluwatu Fight Days in 2021. Yul continues to motivate people to pursue their passion for Muay Thai with his excellent fighting style.
Jinghe “Beast From The East”
Jinghe, who is originally from England, become one of our homegrown fighters. His primary intention while on vacation in Ubud was to train Muay Thai, which swiftly evolved into his passion. Due to his forceful and aggressive fighting style in the arena, he has acquired the nickname "Beast from The East." Jinghe was able to demonstrate his abilities and fighting style in 2021 at the Uluwatu Fight Days, establishing himself as a dangerous Muay Thai fighter.
Maria “The Deadly Cobra”
Dutch national Maria is the third homegrown fighter from Ubud Muay Thai. She has developed the fascinating and lethal "cobra" fighting style while she has been training with us. She won a spot in the Uluwatu Fight Days fighting competition in 2021 as a result of her perseverance.
Nicolas “The Showstopper” Lazzaroni
One of our homegrown fighters at Ubud Muay Thai is Nicolas, a chef, and entrepreneur. His original intention was to simply get into shape and lose weight, but as he excelled in Muay Thai, his passion for the sport progressively evolved. He made the decision to join our homegrown fighters team after falling in love with the sport. The nickname "The Showstopper" came about because Nicholas consistently manages to grab our attention whenever he attends a sparring session. He competed in the SOMA Fight Series in 2022 thanks to his determined attitude and strong fighting skills
Levon “The Powerhouse”
After more than four months of private training at Ubud Muay Thai, Levon, a Russian digital marketer, has found his passion for Muay Thai. His unique "The Powerhouse" fighting style has emerged as a result of his rigorous training. Levon has incredible force in every punch and kicks he throws, making his opponents cower in dread. This, combined with his tenacity, enabled him to triumph in the Backyard Fight competition in January 2023. Levon's metamorphosis from a skilled boxer to a digital marketer is proof of the effectiveness of hard work and dedication.
Andre “The Young Padawan”
Andre, a young Ukrainian man, has shown unwavering focus and perseverance throughout his training at Ubud Muay Thai. He earned the moniker "The Young Padawan" for his five months of intense Muay Thai training, which enabled him to participate in the Backyard Fight in January 2023, his first Muay Thai fighting tournament. Andre has evolved into a capable fighter and an important part of our Muay Thai fighter community, thanks to his commitment to his training.
